About the Role

Speech-Language Pathologists (SLPs) address speech, language, and swallowing disorders, supporting student wellness and development in collaboration with the Interdisciplinary Treatment Planning team. Under the guidance of the Special Education Administrator, SLPs screen, evaluate, and provide therapy and specialized training for students with communication disabilities. They monitor and adjust therapy based on student progress and needs while consulting with parents, staff, and administrators to address communication challenges effectively.

Requirements

One of the following:

  • A valid California Speech-Language Pathology Service Credential

  • A valid license issued by the Speech-Language Pathology and Audiology Board

 

Additional Requirements:

  • Valid first-aid and cardiopulmonary resuscitation (CPR) certificates

  • Letter of Introduction

  • Letter(s) of Recommendation

  • Fingerprinting

  • Tuberculosis (TB) Test

  • California Department of Justice Clarence

  • A valid California Drivers' License
